We will never ask you to provide your login credentials via email.
We would like to inform you about a security incident that may affect your customer account in the power2max web shop.
What happened?
On April 8, 2026, we discovered that an unauthorized third party had gained access to our web shop (power2max.com / power2max.de).
According to our current knowledge, customer data was accessed and ex-filtrated.
When did the incident occur?
Based on current findings, the unauthorized access took place between April 7, 2026, approximately 7:00 PM, and April 8, 2026, approximately 8:00 AM.
What data is affected?
The following data may be affected:
Username
Password (stored in encrypted form)
Email address
Billing and shipping address
Phone number
purchase-related information (e.g. product preferences and items you may have purchased or considered)
The following data is NOT affected:
Credit card data
Bank details
Other payment data
What are the risks?
There is in particular a risk of:
Phishing or spam messages
Potential misuse of your login credentials, especially if you use identical or similar credentials for other services
What should you do now?
For security reasons, we have invalidated all existing passwords.
Logging in is only possible after setting a new password.
Please use the “Forgot password” function in our web shop.
In addition, we recommend that you:
Do not reuse these credentials for other services
If you use identical or similar credentials on other websites, change them there as well
Remain particularly vigilant regarding emails asking you to provide login or personal information
Access our web shop only by entering www.power2max.com directly into your browser
What measures have we taken?
The affected system was secured and taken offline immediately
The web shop was completely rebuilt
All systems were thoroughly checked for malware
All API keys were replaced
The competent data protection authority has been notified
